Came across this website while surfing late at night, while working on some web projects. Fun reading what ideas have made people millionaires!
My current ASUS laptop has served me well for over 4 years… but now gonna buy a new desktop computer soon cause I need some more grunt to handle my design applications. I think after 6+ months on visting websites, checking prices, reading countless forums and researching computers parts… I can get a job at a computer company.
Its taken 6 months cause the industry is going through hardware transition stage and everytime I think I should buy, there’s something else on the horizon. This wasn’t the case a couple of years ago. Although, technology is always progressing… its in accelerated mode at the moment. Its quite a good time to buy. Power-to-value ratio is very good.
As to the exact date of when I get things… I’m not sure. Just doing my last minute checks to ensure I can get the best deal and equipment to last me the next 4+ years. Then I’ll probably be spending another 6 months research.
Wow!!! It’s amazing how many of our friends blog. I’ve added a links to a whole bunch of them. Can’t guarantee it will be exciting reading… but eh… if you’ve go a couple of hours to kill.
This message of encouragement was brought through my friend Peter Truong. God’s been using him for exciting things around the world. You can check out his blog. Before he left for his Malaysia trip he gave me a word of encouragement from God, that he has not forgotten His promises to me. The verse Peter referred to:
Habbakuk 2:2-3
2 Then the LORD replied:
“Write down the revelation
and make it plain on tablets
so that a herald may run with it.
3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time;
it speaks of the end
and will not prove false.
Though it linger, wait for it;
it will certainly come and will not delay.
In Habbakuk 3:17-19 it goes on to say:
17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to go on the heights.
For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.
To rejoice in the Lord no matter what circumstances I may face. Do not be anxious about anything but have the peace the God. eg. The Apostle Paul rejoiced even while locked up in prison.
Philippians 4:4-7
4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Lord is my strength. Trust in Him and His timing. I am not supposed to be at the bottom but on the top of the mountain. However, God is training me to have the sure footedness at the top of the mountain.
It was a quite one this year… but as usual still accompanied by the stuffing of faces.
Sunday Nite – Sharon and I went to Vroom on James St. She had a Moreton Bay Bugs Risotto and I enjoyed a very nice Sand Crab Lasagna.
Monday Nite – Dad and Christine took Sharon and I out to a lovely French restaurant on Given Tce, Paddington called Montrachet. The food was brilliant… and Sharon said the Creme Brulee was the best she’s had. Silly thing is we brought the camera but forgot to take pictures.
Tuesday Nite – Mum, Aunty Grace and Sharon went to local restaurant “7-8″ at Robertson.
All in all, it was a good time of eating. Everyday should be my birthday eh?
